Ashbrook Technologies is moving our headquarters from San Francisco to Albuquerque, New Mexico. This isn’t a move we take lightly, but we know it’s the right one because it’s not about leaving the Bay area, it’s about stepping into the next phase of growth for our company.

Ashbrook Technologies is moving our headquarters from San Francisco to Albuquerque, New Mexico. This isn’t a move we take lightly, but we know it’s the right one because it’s not about leaving the Bay area, it’s about stepping into the next phase of growth for our company.

Earlier this year, we closed a $6M fundraise led by Builders VC, with participation from UP.Abundance and Nationwide Insurance. This is largely in part because the New Mexico State Investment Council (SIC) has doubled down on its commitment to attracting innovation and building an ecosystem where tech companies can thrive. Together, that support signals confidence in both our model and our direction.

Why Albuquerque? Three strategic reasons:

  1. Access to a large and available talent pool.
Albuquerque offers a deep pool of quantitative and innovative talent, with strong feeder programs from leading universities. We’re immediately expanding the team with 3–5 new hires to build on this foundation.

  2. Close proximity to our clients.
A majority of our portfolio companies’ clients are within a 400-mile radius of Albuquerque. Being closer to the market strengthens relationships and accelerates execution.

  3. Aligned with Innovation Policy
The New Mexico SIC and state leadership are committed to positioning New Mexico as a hub for technology and founders. Relocating here aligns Ashbrook Technologies with those long-term innovation initiatives.

Looking Ahead

This move reflects conviction: conviction in our backers, conviction in our clients, and conviction in Albuquerque’s future as a center for innovation. For Ashbrook, it’s more than a new address: it’s a signal of where we’re going, and how we plan to get there.
